Tenth Open Day at GEO600

At the end of August, it's time to immerse yourself in the fascinating world of cutting-edge research! The Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics and the Institute for Gravitational Physics at Leibniz Universität Hannover invite you to the 10th Open Day at the GEO600 gravitational wave detector.

The event will take place at the detector site in Ruthe near Sarstedt. Discover the high-tech detector and find out more about the researchers' exciting work. They are developing the technology that uses gravitational waves to make the universe audible. This year there will also be a booth about the distributed, voluntary computing project Einstein@Home.

Whether you are travelling by bike, car or public transport, admission is free and registration is not required. Drop by, we look forward to your visit!
