Opening of the DLR Institute for Satellite Geodesy and Inertial Sensor Technology

© DLR

On Monday, May 31st, 2021, our partner institution the DLR-SI Hannover had a kick-off ceremony to officially start their work.

Though the search for a head of the institute is still ongoing and although the construction of the buildings hasn’t started yet, 26 scientists are already working at DLR-SI. Several colleagues in Hannover and Bremen are working for our CRC TerraQ and are already promoting our research since January.

We are looking forward to the growth of this new institute and are excited to collaborate with them from the start.
